Panama government procurement data
alphatend reads every purchase that Panama's public agencies publish on PanamaCompra, the official e-procurement portal run by the Dirección General de Contrataciones Públicas (DGCP), and turns it into searchable profiles: who sells to the State, what each agency buys, and at what price it was awarded. The site is in Spanish; this page summarizes what is in it.

What you can look up (in Spanish)
- Directory of suppliers and agencies: the suppliers with the most awards, searchable by name or tax ID (RUC), with what each one won, from whom and for how much.
- Markets by product category: 3,766 categories (UNSPSC codes) with who buys, who wins and at what price.
- Prices paid by product: what the State paid for common goods, and by whom.

Category names are the official Spanish UNSPSC names used by PanamaCompra.
About the data
Open tenders are read from PanamaCompra several times a day; awards, bids and committee reports come from the portal's public records and its open-data releases. alphatend is an independent service, not affiliated with the DGCP or any government agency: if a figure here differs from the official portal, the portal prevails. Since July 2026 the DGCP's open-data releases carry far fewer awards than before, so recent months are incomplete (see the data note).
